Arc Raiders Dev Update: What They Really Mean

Embark posted a new Arc Raiders development update. On paper, it says the update cadence is changing. Major updates are moving to twice a year. Smaller fixes, balance changes, events, and live updates will continue. But what does that actually mean? I’ve worked in game development for 13 years, so in this video I’m translating the PR language into real talk. Why would a studio move away from monthly major updates? What does it say about live service pressure? Is this good for Arc Raiders, or a warning sign? And why does the next big update matter so much? This is not panic. This is not “dead game” bait.
