Muay Thai highlight of a golden age warrior - Anantasak Panyuthapum (อนันตศักดิ์ พันธุ์ยุทธภูมิ). Anantasak was a strong fighter with immense timing and accuracy. In particular, his timing and ring control with his teep and his jab was one of the best of his generation. In fact, many of his fights were won by KO using his rear uppercut which were usually set up by teeps/fake teeps. As well as his teep timing and punching, Anantasak was known as one of the best elbow fighters of the golden era and was known as the "Axe Elbow". Anantasak won the World Muaythai Council belt at 122 lbs and the Siam Boxing Stadium belt at 126 lbs. He was also awarded the Fighter of the Year award in 1997.
