Keying rusher or receiver in APBA Football: How do YOU do it?

Do you use the keying feature — identifying the ball carrier or intended receiver — as a basic or optional rule? And, do you use the "old" rule of dropping two lines only if there's a gain on the run, or do you drop into a slightly greater loss of yardage? We look at the evolution of the results boards and rules books/charts — and let you judge for yourself. 1-17-23: To further amplify the concept, based on the ensuing conversation: 1) APBA Football simplies the game of football so that knowledge of X's and O's is unnecessary — which is ideal for more casual football fans. It replicates what a viewer sees happening on the field. While the key rule is stated as an option, I see it as essential to use throughout any game, as it tones down the play results. 4) As to the question, "What is the penalty if you guess/key wrong?" Simple: You give up the full yardage on the play result.
