PUBG Mobile World Cup 2026 Grand Finals Day 1 is done - but the biggest talking point today is player health, not the points table. Multiple players reportedly fell ill during Day 1, and the situation became serious enough that only 4 of the scheduled 6 matches were completed, with the remaining 2 called off. That means Day 2 on August 15 now has 8 matches. Reported affected players include GodLike captain Manya, IDA's Emre7 and Tianba's Milu, with further reports that Orangutan's Aaru and AKOP were also unwell. Zgod and AnkiBot, present in Paris, spoke about the health issues, with AnkiBot saying some players felt unwell from Match 1 but kept playing. According to an S2G creator, several players needed medical assistance and at one point around 20 of the 64 players were reportedly in the medical area, with some taken to medics on chairs and teams discussing playing with substitutes or coaches.
